Organized by the School of Foreign Languages at Çukurova University and hosted by Hasan Kalyoncu University, the Fourth International Language-for-All Conference (LfAC’25) took place on October 16–17, 2025, in Gaziantep, Türkiye.
This year’s conference, held under the theme “Sustainable Learning, Global Impact,” served as an international platform where innovative and sustainable approaches in language education were discussed.
The event featured a rich program with prominent scholars from the field. Prof. Dr. Sarah Mercer, Prof. Dr. Peter Van Petegem, Prof. Dr. Betül Balkar, and Dr. Samantha Curle shared their knowledge and experiences with the participants as keynote speakers.
Faculty members from the Department of English Language Teaching at Hasan Kalyoncu University also contributed actively to the conference as both hosts and participants.
Asst. Prof. Mehmet Salih Yoğun, Director of the School of Foreign Languages and faculty member at Hasan Kalyoncu University, and Asst. Prof. Zekeriya Durmaz took leading roles in organizing the event as part of the hosting committee.
From the department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda Sıvacı, Asst. Prof. Şeyma Yıldırım, and Res. Asst. Berkay Temiz contributed to the academic dimension of the conference through their presentations.
In addition, faculty members from the department served as chairpersons in various sessions, supporting the academic flow of the event.
LfAC’25 provided an inspiring academic environment where innovative research and practices were shared, reinforcing the understanding of sustainable language education and offering participants a productive and motivating experience.
